Tuesday, June, 9, 2026 —Voters in Sequoyah County are reminded to keep the integrity of the election system in mind when heading to the polls on June 16. Weekly Summer Food Distribution Underway for Local Children
Sunday, June 7, 2026 — Families in Sequoyah County will have an opportunity to receive free food for their children this summer through a weekly food distribution program hosted by the Summer Meals Team of the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. The drive-through program is being held every Wednesday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Sallisaw Health and Wellness Center.
