Thursday, Sept. 30 - Marble City's Annual Fall Festival will begin bright and early Saturday, Oct. 2, with a grab-and-go breakfast at the bank at 7 a.m.
The busy day of events to follow will include yard sales, arts and crafts sales and flea markets beginning at 8 a.m.
At 9 a.m., there will be an opening ceremony that will include an invocation and guest speakers.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., MCAO will be providing bouncy houses for the kids, and don't worry, plenty of food will be available all day, with food vendors selling delicious enchiladas, Frito pies, nachos, ice cream sundaes, hamburgers, hot links, sloppy Joe dinners, beans and frybread and much more.
Guests can get their bingo on during a fundraiser at City Hall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
At 2:30 p.m., there will be a bicycle race sponsored by Peanut's Snack Shack, and there will be a free barbecue meal at City Hall at 4 p.m. Stay at City Hall after the barbecue feast for a Community Revitalization event from 5-6 p.m., followed by a street dance that will kick off at 7 p.m.
Those who join the Marble City Revitalization Coalition can enter to win gift cards and other prizes.
There is no charge for booth setup. Booths are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early to get a good spot. Please observe social-distancing guidelines.
