Born and raised in Sequoyah County, Justin Pettit graduated from Sallisaw High School in 1998, but moved to Fayetteville, AR in 2000 after starting a career in Real Estate. A few years later, he started to burnout in that field and made the decision to head back to college to finish his degree in radio. In 2010, Justin started a sports radio station in NWA covering the Arkansas Razorbacks, the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, and helped out on the morning drive show. In April of 2015, he returned to Sequoyah County and began working at The Mix 105.1! 

JP currently serves as the Program Director, Sports Director, and an on-air midday host. He's the play-by-play voice for Game of the Week football, basketball, and Sallisaw Black Diamonds Basketball. Along with his wife Jennifer, they make their home in Sallisaw, have three kids, one daughter-in-law, and three dogs. When he's not on the radio or broadcasting a game, you can find JP traveling, running, and cheering on his favorite teams - the Purdue Boilermakers, Indianapolis Colts, Colorado Avalanche, and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
