Two injured in single car accident

Sunday, October 2, 2022 - Two Sallisaw men were injured in a single vehicle accident that occurred close to midnight Friday night


According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) report, Isaac Dubina, 21, was driving a 2000 Dodge Durango on Drake Rd approximately one mile west of Sallisaw when he departed the roadway to the right. The vehicle struck an embankment causing it to roll one complete time and come to rest back on its wheels.


Dubina was transported by Pafford EMS to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith where he was admitted in stable condition with trunk and internal injuries.

A passenger in the vehicle, Rocky Cripps, 28, was flown by Mercy Life Flight to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa where he was treated and then released.

The OHP report lists the condition of the driver and the cause of the accident as "under investigation." Seatbelts were in use at the time of the accident.


OHP was assisted at the scene by the Sallisaw Police and Fire Departments, Pafford EMS and Mercy Life Flight.
