Thursday, April 6, 2023 - The town of Vian recently announced that the city’s community clean-up event has been scheduled for April 18 and 19.
The service will be available to current VPWA residential customers only.
All trash will be picked up curbside on the resident’s normally scheduled trash day. Those wishing to participate in this year's clean-up event will need to make sure all trash is curbside by 7 a.m.
Everything will be accepted, from metal to trash; however, all metal will need to be separated into a separate pile prior to pickup.
Hazardous waste items will not be accepted or picked up during the event.
A few examples of hazardous waste include paint, pesticides, cleaning chemicals, tires, batteries, brush piles, and appliances that contain a compressor or freon.
