Friday, March 10, 2023 - The town of Muldrow is hosting a city-wide spring cleanup event at no charge to residents living in town from March 11- March 18.
The Muldrow sanitation department will have dumpsters located behind the Muldrow Police Department daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for residents to dispose of their trash.
Citizens are required to bring proof of a water bill in their name prior to utilizing the dumpsters.
Commercial haulers and contractors are prohibited from using these sites.
The amount of trash that a resident may bring to the site each time should contain no more than what would fit in the bed of a pickup truck (4' x 8'). The sanitation department urges citizens to bring materials throughout the week to avoid waiting in line.
Accepted items during the clean-up event include all regular household trash, furniture, appliances, and carpet.
The town of Muldrow reminds residents they will not accept items such as paint, engine oil, pesticides or herbicides, car batteries, tires, hazardous or toxic waste, cleaning chemicals, liquids of any kind, grass, leaves, or brush.
