TheBOD.Church Makes Impact in the Community

In a year where everyone’s wallets are a bit lighter because of food prices, TheBOD.church is making a powerful impact in the local community through their Impact Sunday event.

On November 24, as part of their mission to share the love of Jesus, TheBOD is coming together to provide Thanksgiving food baskets to families in need. Partnering with local schools to identify these families, they have worked to provide all the essentials for a Thanksgiving meal—a turkey voucher, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and canned goods—ensuring that every family can celebrate the season with a full table, no matter their financial situation.

Impact Sunday is about more than just food; it's about showing the heart of Christ to those who may be struggling. Church members volunteer their time to pack and deliver the baskets, offering not just physical nourishment but also words of encouragement and prayer.

For TheBOD, this event is a tangible expression of their faith, as they seek to meet the practical needs of their neighbors while reflecting God’s love and grace. As they serve, they create an opportunity for connection and community, offering hope and joy to families during what can often be a difficult season.

Impact Sunday is a reminder that the true spirit of Thanksgiving isn’t just about gathering around a table; it’s about serving others, showing kindness, and making an impact that goes beyond the holiday season, reflecting Jesus' love in everything they do.
