Stump Crowned Miss Diamond Daze 2026

Thursday, May 7, 2026  — The auditorium in downtown Sallisaw was filled with excitement Friday evening as contestants from across the area took the stage for the 2026 Diamond Daze Pageant, one of the featured events of the annual Diamond Daze Festival.

As the evening came to a close, Madi-Belle Stump was crowned Miss Diamond Daze 2026, while Kennedy Garrett earned the title of Teen Miss Diamond Daze 2026.

The pageant took place on Friday, May 1, and featured 33 contestants ranging in age from 2 to 19 years old. Boys competed in divisions through age 9, while girls competed across all age categories.

In addition to her title, sash, flowers, cash prize, and crown, Stump received a $1,000 scholarship from a Chamber of Commerce affiliate that has proudly supported the pageant for the past three years.

As titleholders, both Miss Diamond Daze and Teen Miss Diamond Daze will serve as ambassadors for the community throughout the coming year. Their duties will include attending local events, parades, and public appearances, as well as completing a community service project of their choice during their reign.

Stump, the daughter of Leslie and Joel Stump, will be a senior at Sallisaw High School during the 2026-2027 school year. Garrett, the daughter of Nikki and Jared Garrett of Sallisaw, will be a junior at Central High School this fall.

Congratulations to all of the 2026 Diamond Daze titleholders, along with the sponsors, businesses, and individuals whose generous support, donations, and prizes helped make this year’s pageant a success.
