Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library Hosts October Programs for All Ages

Sunday, October 19, 2025 - The Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library is offering a variety of engaging programs throughout October for children, teens, and adults.


The week kicks off on Monday, October 20, with an Arts and Crafts Class from 4 to 5 p.m. Participants, including teens and adults, will learn a little history while creating their crafts.


For the youngest visitors, Storytime sessions are held on Tuesday, October 21, and Tuesday, October 28, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Designed for children ages 0–5, Storytime introduces books, rhymes, music, and other literacy-based activities to make learning fun.


Teens can join Dungeons and Dragons sessions on October 21 and October 28 from 4 to 5 p.m. Beginners are welcome to come in for in-person games and enjoy an afternoon of imagination, strategy, and camaraderie.


Children ages 6–11 are invited to Kid Science classes on Thursday, October 23, and Thursday, October 30, from 4 to 5 p.m. Participants will explore STEM concepts through hands-on activities, including Spooky Math and the Dancing Ghost Experiment, combining science with fun and creativity.


All programs are held in the library’s meeting room and are designed to provide learning, creativity, and fun for everyone.
