“Stalking and My Community” Presentation Set for January 12

Tuesday, January 6, 2026 — The Sequoyah County Coordinated Community Response (CCR) and Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), in cooperation with the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office, will host a free online educational event titled “Stalking and My Community” on January 12 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Zoom-based presentation is designed to raise public awareness about stalking, help community members recognize warning signs, and provide information on prevention and available resources. The event will be led by the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office Victim Service Specialist, Sarah Ridinger, as part of ongoing efforts to educate the public and promote safety throughout Sequoyah County.
The presentation is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend and share the registration link with friends, family members, and coworkers to help spread awareness. Sharing the information by email, text message, or social media is encouraged.
Those interested in attending are asked to register in advance through Eventbrite. Registered participants will receive Zoom access details before the event.
