Sequoyah County Communities Serve Up Free Thanksgiving Dinners

Monday, November 24, 2025 — Several area organizations are coming together this Thanksgiving to make sure everyone in the community has the chance to enjoy a warm holiday meal. Free Thanksgiving meals will be offered across Sequoyah County on November 26 and 27, with multiple locations and times to accommodate families.
On Wednesday, November 26, Burger Barn in Webbers Falls will host a free Thanksgiving feast starting at 11 a.m. and continuing until the food runs out. The restaurant is located at 404 N. Hwy 100, in Webbers Falls.
That same day, the 11th Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner takes place at the Sallisaw Middle School Cafeteria from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Takeout meals will not be available until 12:30 p.m., depending on availability. The cafeteria is located at 2301 W. Ruth Ave. in Sallisaw.
On Thursday, November 27, Burger Barn in Muldrow will host a free Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., or until supplies last. The address is 903 E. Shawntel Smith Blvd. in Muldrow.
Also, on Thanksgiving Day, A Shore Thing Salon & Spa, in partnership with DG Fencing, will offer free community Thanksgiving takeout dinners starting at 3 p.m., while supplies last. The salon is located at 464818 E. 1070 Rd. in Sallisaw.
Finally, Gore United Methodist Church will welcome guests for a free Thanksgiving meal on November 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The church is located at 4th St. S., Winn, in Gore.
These community efforts provide a wonderful opportunity for neighbors to come together, share a meal, and celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving.
