Sequoyah County Assessor’s Office to Survey Storm Damage

Tuesday, September 23, 2025 - Severe storms swept through Sequoyah County this evening, leaving behind significant damage in several locations throughout the community.

In response, field deputies with the Sequoyah County Assessor’s Office will begin surveying and assessing property damage that occurred within the county on Wednesday, September 24.

The Assessor's Office encourages residents who have sustained major structural damage to report it directly.

The Sequoyah County Assessor’s Office is located at 117 S. Oak, Suite 109, in Sallisaw, and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
