Friday, December 16, 2022 - A free, Sensitive Santa event has been scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 18 from 2–5 p.m. in Sallisaw. The event will be held at VIVAS Snack Shack, located at 232 N. Oak St.

Sensitive Santa is a special Santa who has an abundance of patience and time. This event gives children with special needs and their families the chance to meet Santa in a sensory-friendly environment.
A quiet hour for individuals with special sensory needs will be held from 2-3 p.m. Then, from 3-5 p.m. Sensitive Santa will open his doors to all other individuals with special needs.
In addition, there will be treats, ornament making, and raffles.
If you have children with special needs, this event will be a calming Santa experience they will never forget.
