Friday, December 31, 2021 - The search continues for a man seen falling into Kerr Lake while fishing on Monday.
Dennis Yochum, Leflore County Emergency Management Director, stated on Friday that the OHP Marine Enforcement Section have been aiding in the recovery effort. "He hasn't been found yet but we won't stop until he is," Yochum stated.
No victim details have been released but Yochum said that authorities do know the man's identity.
A witness reported seeing the man fall in but stated he was unable to save him due to the strong current. The man was described as "elderly."
