Schools Make Summer Plans to Feed Students


Friday, June 4, 2021 - Area schools have announced plans to feed their students during summer break.

Sallisaw Public Schools will provide free meals to all children 18 and under as part of its summer food service program.


Meals will be provided at Eastside Elementary School, 1206 W. Creek, from Monday, June 7, through Friday, July 16. Lunch will be served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


Roland Public Schools' summer food program is already underway, with breakfast being served weekdays from 7:30-9 a.m. And lunch served each weekday from 11 a.m. To 1 p.m. The free meals for students 18 and under can be picked up at the Roland Middle School Cafeteria.


Muldrow Public Schools students who are 18 and younger can dine at the elementary school cafeteria for free breakfast from 8-8:30 a.m. and free lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on weekdays.

Schools in Brushy and Vian will not have summer feeding programs for students this year.
