Sallisaw's Cruizin' 64 Car Show and Chili Cook Off taking place this weekend

Thursday, October 6, 2022 - Sallisaw Main Street and the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce would like to invite the community to attend the 2022 Cruizin’ 64 Car Show and Chili Cook Off.

On Friday, October 7, members of Sallisaw Main Street will be selling their popular Indian Tacos in the Pink Pig trailer located at the Pocket Park beginning at 11 a.m. Funnel cakes will also be available.


A car show will be the first of many events scheduled for Saturday, October 8 and will kick off at 8 a.m. Check-in and registration for the car show will take place at the Pocket Park from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.


At 9 a.m., pop-up shops and vendor booths open for public shopping.


The Boys and Girls Club of Sequoyah County will be selling raffle tickets for one of their many creative themed baskets. Basket winners will be announced at 2 p.m.


At 11 a.m., taster kits become available to purchase for the chili cook-off, and Grass Mountain Trailhead performs live at Stage Park. Taster kits cost $8 each and include a drink.


Cruise night is set to begin at 6 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and set up to get a good view of the numerous unique vehicles cruising the downtown streets of Sallisaw.
