Monday, January 29, 2024 - The Mix, along with the Sequoyah County Times, will be bringing you a public forum for candidates seeking the Ward 2 and 4 seats of the Sallisaw Board of City Commissioners.
You can watch the forum live on our KXMX Facebook page and also on MixTV Channel 19 on Thursday, February 1 from 6:30 to 8 pm.
The forum will be held at the People Inc Conference Center.
Each candidate will be given up to three minutes for opening and closing statements. The number of questions will depend on time available.
Candidates for Ward 2 include incumbent Josh Bailey and challenger Steven Hatcher. Candidates for Ward 4 include Brad Hamilton and Jeannie Richardson.
The election will be held on February 13 and as always we will bring you election results live from the Sequoyah County election board on The Mix 105.1
