Sallisaw Church of Christ Annual Community Giveaway Returns September 19

 Monday, August 24, 2026 —The Sallisaw Church of Christ will host its annual Community Giveaway on Saturday, September 19, offering free items to local families on a first-come, first-served basis.

The giveaway will take place from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church's Family Center. Doors will not open before 8 a.m.

Community members will have the opportunity to choose from various items, including hygiene products, clothing and shoes for all ages, furniture, home décor, toys, and more.

Each family is limited to one piece of furniture, and items cannot be placed on hold. Families are responsible for providing transportation for any furniture they receive.

Drawings will also be held during the event, and participants do not have to be present to win.

Organizers remind attendees that all giveaway items are for personal use and not for resale.

The Sallisaw Church of Christ Family Center is located at 1104 East Choctaw Avenue in Sallisaw.
