Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New City Manager and Recognizes Lakeside RV Park

During its monthly membership meeting last Wednesday, the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce recognized Lakeside RV Park-Tim Foote as January’s Member of the Month.

Foote, owner of Lakeside RV Park, was honored for his contributions and accomplishments in business and community service. A Tulsa native raised in Muskogee, Foote graduated from Warner High School before embarking on a diverse career path.

Foote's professional journey began with a decade in grocery store management in Muskogee. In 1996, he opened Bubba’s Drive-Thru in Jay, Oklahoma, before he founded Phoenix Installations in 2005. Foote later managed an oilfield yard for Select Energy in Enid and worked with On Tour Logistics hauling musical equipment for entertainers nationwide. In 2017, he became the owner of Lake Wister RV Park and Mini Storages before purchasing Lakeside RV Park in 2020.

In addition to his entrepreneurial achievements, Foote actively supports the community. He serves as a board member for Rural Water District #4, is an active participant in the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce, and has graduated from the Chamber’s Leadership 1 and 2 classes. He also volunteers as a board member and DAT responder with the American Red Cross South Central Southeast Oklahoma and attends United Faith Church in Sallisaw.

The meeting’s keynote speaker was the City of Sallisaw's new City Manager, Brian Heverly, who inspired attendees with his background and vision for the community.

Heverly retired from the army after 25-plus years, the last 6 of which were spent at West Point. He has had 7 deployments, 6 in combat, and one in 2014 to fight Ebola in Liberia.

Heverly and his wife of 25 years homeschool their three children. Reflecting on his new role, Heverly stated, “I am looking forward to jumping in the deep end and excited for the opportunities Sallisaw is realizing now and those on the horizon. I am blessed to be part of this journey and to be part of what will be our future.”
