Friday, April 29, 2022 - The town of Roland and the Roland Area Chamber of Commerce have collaborated to host their very first Kids Fishing Derby. The fishing derby will take place at Roland Lake on Saturday, April 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The fishing derby is open to children ages 16 and under. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the final weigh-in, prizes, and lunch will take place at noon. All participants must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.
Organizers are asking families attending the fishing derby to try to come in a single vehicle because parking will be limited.
