Wednesday, June 28, 2023 - The town of Roland will begin implementing new hours for the use of the town’s dumpsters located at city hall.
The change is set to begin on July 1, 2023, for both residential and out-of-town customers.
The new hours give customers the opportunity to utilize the town dumpsters Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 6 a.m. to noon.
All dumpsters will now be closed on Sundays, with no disposal services available for the day.
It's important to note that cameras are in place seven days a week to monitor the area for unauthorized dumping.
Throwing trash or any other object over the fence outside of operating hours is strictly prohibited. Violating this rule may result in a ticket and/or a fine.
