Wednesday, December 17, 2025 — The Sequoyah County Election Board has announced the open precincts for the Board of Education Primary Election scheduled for February 10. Two local school districts, Central and Moffett, will hold elections on that date.
Precincts open for the Central School District include 106, 301, 303, 305, 306, 307, and 310, while Precinct 107 will be open for the Moffett School District.
Additionally, the City of Sallisaw will hold a mayoral election. Voters residing within the city limits may cast their ballots at precincts 204, 205, 301, 302, and 303.
Registered voters who have questions about their precinct are encouraged to contact the Sequoyah County Election Board by calling 918-775-2614, visiting the office located at 110 E. Creek Ave., or emailing sequoyahcounty@elections.ok.gov.
Under state law, a precinct may be closed for an election if it is not fully contained within the district boundaries and no residents live in the affected portion. Closing such a precinct can help reduce overall election costs for the district.
