Thursday, April 30, 2026 — The Sequoyah County Election Board is alerting voters to several precinct changes ahead of the June 2026 elections, encouraging residents to review updated voting locations and pick up new voter identification cards.
According to election officials, three precincts have been relocated, though all moves are minimal and remain within the same general areas:
Precinct 106 (Liberty) has moved across the road to Swon Road Baptist Church.
Precinct 310 (Gans) is now located across the road at the Gans Assembly of God fellowship hall.
Precinct 306 (Akins) will now vote at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church on Highway 101.
Election officials emphasize that signage will be posted at each location to help direct voters to the correct polling place on Election Day.
New voter cards reflecting these precinct updates have been printed and are now available for pickup at the election board office. For those unable to pick up cards in advance, updated voter cards will also be available at the new precinct locations on Election Day.
In addition, officials remind voters that party affiliation changes are currently suspended and will remain so until September 1.
Voters are encouraged to plan ahead, verify their polling location, and allow extra time if they are voting at a new precinct for the first time.
