Planned Power Outage Scheduled for Sallisaw Substation

Monday, February 23, 2026 — Customers who receive electricity from the Sallisaw Substation, Feeder 4, should prepare for a planned power outage scheduled for Tuesday, February 24.

According to Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative, Inc., the outage is expected to begin around 8:30 a.m. and will last approximately three to four hours.

Members who are unsure whether they are served by the Sallisaw Substation, Feeder 4, can find that information printed on their monthly electric bill. Customers may also call 800-328-2368 for assistance in determining their service area.

Officials encourage affected members to plan for the outage and thank the community for its patience and understanding while crews complete the necessary work.
