OSHSA hosting ice cream social and free concert May 21

Wednesday, May 18, 2022 - The Old Sallisaw High School Association (OSHSA) will be hosting a free ice cream social this Saturday, May 21, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Old Sallisaw High School Rotunda Park.

One of the event organizers, Crystal Hardy, said, "In addition to the ice cream social, we will also be hosting some live musical entertainment by the Mule Kick Reckoning Band." Those planning to attend will need to make sure to bring their lawn chairs.

"Our main goal is to get people to come out and enjoy the park while socializing with others," Hardy added.

The event is free to everyone that attends. However, the organization will accept and appreciate any donations they may receive.

Ice cream plus a live band will make for a perfect afternoon, so don’t forget to mark your calendars and head out to visit your friends at the Old Sallisaw High School Association this weekend.

For additional information, you can contact the OSHSA park and Black Diamonds Facebook page.
