Wednesday, March 16, 2022 - On Thursday, March 17, the Old Sallisaw High School Association will be hosting a dine-in or carry-out St. Patrick’s Day Lunch. The lunch is $7.00 per plate and includes spaghetti, bread, salad, and cookies.
Vice President of the Old High School Association Bobby Whitekiller, said, "The spaghetti dinner will benefit the Old Sallisaw High School Association event center and park behind the rotunda. Individuals can message our Facebook page or contact the numbers listed for questions regarding the dinner."
In addition to the dinner, a silent auction is also being held. "Daniel Walters has donated an 11x14 original pencil drawing (above) of the old Sallisaw High School which we are currently taking bids on. Bids can be made through our Old Sallisaw High School Park & OSHSA Black Diamond Event Center Facebook page. The starting bid was set at $100.00 and subsequent bids will be accepted in increments of $10.00 each," Whitekiller said.
Bids will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. Thursday evening, and the winner will be notified at that time. The pencil drawing will be available for viewing during the spaghetti dinner.
