Muldrow to Host Town-Wide Clean-Up May 12–17

Tuesday, April 29, 2025 – The Town of Muldrow is holding a free town-wide clean-up for residents from Monday, May 12, through Saturday, May 17, with hours of operation daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The cleanup effort, organized by the Muldrow Sanitation Department, is aimed at helping residents dispose of unwanted household items at no cost. A designated dumpster will be placed in the fenced area behind the Muldrow department offices and will be available exclusively to residents of the Town of Muldrow.

To use the service, residents must present a current Muldrow utility bill to verify their address. The amount of trash permitted per visit is limited to what would fit in a standard pickup truck bed (approximately 4 feet by 8 feet).

The town encourages residents to spread out their drop-offs over the week to avoid congestion or wait times. Commercial haulers, contractors, and industrial waste are strictly prohibited from dumping.

Accepted materials include regular household trash, furniture, appliances (with restrictions), carpets, cardboard, metals, plastics, mattresses, and box springs.

However, residents are reminded that certain materials will not be accepted, including paint and engine oil, car batteries and tires, pesticides, herbicides, grass, leaves, brush, cleaning chemicals, liquids, and hazardous waste.

For more information, residents can contact the Muldrow Utility Office at 918-427-3226.
