Muldrow Middle School Student Wins State Spelling Bee Championship

Tuesday, April 28, 2026 — Muldrow Middle School is celebrating a major academic achievement after eighth grader Aniston Moore was crowned State Champion of the Eastern Oklahoma State Spelling Bee.

With the championship win, Moore has earned a qualifying spot to compete in Washington, D.C., where she will represent her school and community on a national stage.

In addition to the title, Moore’s victory also brought financial rewards for both herself and her school. She won $1,000 for the Muldrow Middle School Library and received $500 personally.

School officials and community members are congratulating Moore on her outstanding accomplishment, dedication, and hard work.

The championship marks a proud moment for Muldrow Middle School as Moore prepares for her next opportunity in the nation’s capital.
