Thursday, January 20, 2022 - A Muldrow man perished Wednesday in a single-vehicle accident.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), 57-year-old Kim Reed was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado on S 4750 Rd approximately five miles north of Muldrow at 6:14 pm when the accident occurred.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the OHP but the roads were wet and the weather was rainy at the time of the fatal crash.
Reed was pronounced dead at the scene by Pafford EMS.
The OHP was assisted by the Sequoyah County Sheriff's Office, Liberty Fire Department and Pafford EMS.
