Muldrow man killed in accident

Friday, October 14, 2022 - A Muldrow man was killed in single vehicle accident north of Moffett Wednesday.


Kenneth Taylor, 42, was driving a 2007 Ford Ranger on US-64, four-tenths of a mile west of OK-64D, one mile north of Moffett when the accident occurred.


According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) report, Taylor was eastbound on US-64, departed the roadway to the left, over-corrected and crossed the roadway, departing it to the right. The vehicle rolled one time and Taylor was ejected. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Pafford EMS.


The cause of the accident is listed as under investigation. The report states that seatbelts were not in use and the odor of alcohol was detected.


OHP was assisted by the Roland Police and Fire Departments, Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office, and Pafford EMS.
