Muldrow Library to Host Spring Break Art Cam

March 13, 2026 — The Muldrow Public Library will host a week of creative activities during Spring Break as part of the Eastern Oklahoma Library System Spring Break Art Camp, scheduled for March 16–20.

The free camp will take place each day at 11 a.m. and is open to participants of all ages. Organizers say the activities are designed to encourage creativity and hands-on learning while providing a fun opportunity for families and children during Spring Break.

The week will kick off Monday, March 16, with Fantastic Fish, a Jackson Pollock-inspired fish painting activity where participants can explore abstract art techniques. On Tuesday, March 17, the library will host Snack-tastic Structures, allowing participants to build creative designs using fruits, vegetables, and toothpicks.

Wednesday’s activity, Spring Tree Impression Art, will give participants the chance to create unique artwork using Q-tips and paint to form tree impressions with a fun painting technique. On Thursday, March 19, attendees can create spring sun and wind catchers, building and painting colorful decorations to celebrate the season.

The camp will wrap up on Friday, March 20, with Bite-Size Masterpieces, where participants can play with their food to create edible mosaic-style artwork.

All activities are free, and all supplies will be provided. Organizers encourage families and children to attend as many sessions as they like throughout the week.
