Mobile Vaccine Clinic to Help Sallisaw Students Prepare for School

Sunday, August 2, 2026 —Sallisaw Middle School students will have an opportunity to receive free vaccinations during a two-day mobile vaccine event sponsored by Cherokee Nation Public Health.

The Cherokee Nation Public Health Mobile Unit will be available Thursday, August 6, and Friday, August 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the back-parking lot of Sallisaw High School.

All students can attend the clinic, regardless of Cherokee Nation citizenship or membership.

Vaccinations available during the event include TDAP and MMR, helping students meet school immunization requirements before the new school year begins.

Cherokee Nation Public Health encourages families to take advantage of this free opportunity to ensure students are up to date on their vaccinations before classes begin.
