Friday, May 6, 2022 - A beautiful weekend is in store for this upcoming weekend, and the timing couldn’t be any better for one local community. The Town of Marble City will be hosting the 2022 Spring Fling in downtown Marble City this Saturday, May 7.
The spring fling will bring a variety of activities throughout the town. Vendors will be set up and will offer arts and crafts, food, music, fresh produce, baked goods, a flea market, yard sales, and nonprofit vendors.
Vendor booths are free to set up and available on a first come, first served basis. Vendor set-up will begin at 7:00 a.m. and sales will run from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The Marble City Historical Society will be taking part in the weekend festivities by hosting "At the Bank".
"At the bank" will provide a variety of foods for purchase at the Citizens State Bank building in downtown Marble City. A few of the available food options will include: a breakfast buffet; lasagna; enchiladas; nachos; fried pies; and we can’t leave out the good ole fashioned bake sale. Food sales will begin at 7:00 a.m. and continue until the event has ended.
The Spring Fling street dance will be the last event of the evening and will offer music from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. from the band "Rezervation Road." Rezervation Road is a high-energy classic and modern country band with a splash of southern rock.
