Sunday, April 12, 2026 — The Marble City Farmers and Art Market, Inc. is inviting vendors, community members, and anyone interested in local agriculture and handmade goods to attend its upcoming Vendor Training, Sign-Up Event, and Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 25, from approximately 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is open to the public and offers a valuable opportunity for both new and returning vendors to learn more about participating in the local market.
Representatives from the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry (ODAFF) will be on hand to provide updates on current USDA guidelines, including regulations for homemade goods, egg sales, and other important vendor requirements.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to sign up for the Cherokee Nation Farmers Market Program, as well as receive training on how to accept SNAP benefits and participate in the Double Up Oklahoma (DUO) program, which helps increase access to fresh, locally grown foods for families.
In addition to vendor training, the organization will hold its annual meeting, which will include voting on new board members, a review of the past year’s activities, and announcements regarding the 2026 summer and winter market seasons.
Organizers say the event is ideal for anyone considering becoming a vendor, offering insight into how the market operates and how to get involved.
A light lunch and refreshments will be provided free of charge following the training and sign-up session, giving attendees time to connect and share ideas before the meeting begins.
The Marble City Farmers and Art Market is currently seeking produce and herb vendors, especially those who accept or are interested in participating in programs such as SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), the Cherokee Nation Farmers Market Program, Double Up Oklahoma, and the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program.
Community members are also encouraged to attend and share suggestions on how to continue improving the market.
The location of the meeting will be announced at a later date on the Marble City Farmers and Art Market, Inc.'s Facebook page.
