With spring just around the corner, two local farmers markets are preparing for the upcoming season.
The Sallisaw Farmers Market will host its annual meeting on March 4 at 6 p.m. at the Sequoyah County Fairgrounds in Sallisaw. The meeting will provide important information for vendors, including setup details for the 2025 market season, and offer a chance to ask questions.
Meanwhile, the Marble City Farmers and Art Market is set to hold its annual event at the town hall building on Saturday, March 8, at 9 a.m. This event welcomes producers of fresh produce, eggs, homemade foods, and other local goods to attend. Guest speakers from the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Food and Forestry, Cherokee Nation WIC, and more will be on hand to answer questions and provide insights.
These meetings are a great opportunity for those interested in becoming vendors or learning more about the Farmers Market season to get involved!
