Health Department Mobile Unit to Offer Free Childhood Vaccines and Physicals at Muldrow Library

Thursday, June 12, 2025 — The Sequoyah County Health Department's mobile unit will be stationed at the Muldrow Public Library on Wednesday, June 26, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., providing essential services for children and teens just in time for summer activities and the upcoming school year.


The mobile unit will offer sports and band physicals as well as routine childhood immunizations. These services are essential for families preparing for school enrollment or extracurricular programs that require up-to-date health records.


Vaccines will be provided at no cost for children who qualify through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. To be eligible, children must be 18 years old or younger and meet one or more of the following criteria:


·        American Indian or Alaska Native

·        Medicaid-eligible

·        Uninsured or underinsured


A signed parental or guardian consent form is required for all services.
