Health Department Bringing Mobile Wellness Unit to Muldrow Library

Friday, June 12, 2026 —Families looking to get a head start on back-to-school health requirements will have an opportunity later this month when the Sequoyah County Health Department brings its Public Health on the Go Mobile Wellness Unit to Muldrow.

The mobile unit will be available at the Muldrow Public Library on June 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering various services to help students prepare for the upcoming school year.

Available services will include sports physicals, band physicals, Head Start physicals, and back-to-school immunizations. Health officials encourage parents to take advantage of the event before the busy back-to-school season begins.

According to the Sequoyah County Health Department, some immunizations may be available in limited supply. Parents and guardians are encouraged to call ahead for information regarding vaccine availability and eligibility requirements.

A signed parental or guardian consent form is required for all services provided to minors.

The Public Health on the Go program is designed to increase access to healthcare services by bringing preventive care directly into communities throughout the county.

For additional information, contact the Sequoyah County Health Department at 918-775-6201.
