Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021 - Jason Bryant, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle accident Thursday.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) report, the accident occurred at 2 pm on Interstate 40 westbound, approximately six miles west of Vian.
Bryant was driving a 2016 Freightliner. He was pinned in the wreckage for 63 minutes before being freed by the Vian Fire Department.
The report states that Bryant was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. The OHP is investigating to determine the cause of the wreck.
