Gore hosts Christmas@the Park

Friday, December 3, 2021- The City of Gore has planned a community event, "Christmas@the Park," that will take place at Ray Fine Park on December 11.

The holiday festivities will begin immediately following the town's Christmas parade, which is set to start at 11 a.m.

There will be lots of activities going on, and everyone is invited to attend. Parents can bring their children out, and they will be able to sit on Santa’s lap, write and mail Santa a postcard, and help the town decorate their Christmas tree. Children will also have the opportunity to take a ride on the Christmas train.

The town will also be handing out Christmas candy bags and the Gore High School band will be present to provide entertainment.

Robin Henry, Vice Mayor of the Town of Gore, said the city is excited to have Mr. and Mrs. Claus visiting Ray Fine Park.

"We have been really focusing on updating our park. Our vision is that it will become a community gathering place, and we are working hard to make that vision come to life. We are hoping that this event will become an annual tradition and something that our community looks forward to each year," Henry stated.
