Flutter Fest Returns June 7 with Family Fun and Community Resources

Sunday, May 25, 2025- Originally scheduled for April 5 but postponed due to inclement weather, the second annual Flutter Fest has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Marble City Community Center.

This free event, organized by the Sequoyah County Health Department, is designed for families and individuals of all ages. The festival highlights the importance of public health and wellness while also serving as a platform to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month. Flutter Fest aims to educate, empower, and connect families with vital services and resources available in the community.

The fun begins with a sensory-friendly hour from 11 a.m. to noon, providing a calm and welcoming environment for attendees who may benefit from reduced noise and activity levels.

The day will feature various engaging activities, resource booths, and family-friendly entertainment. Children can enjoy face painting, bouncy houses, and a paint party, while parents can take advantage of car seat safety checks and explore resource tables offering helpful information and support.

Additional highlights include fingerprint ID kits, a mobile wellness unit, a ribbon walk in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, and a complimentary lunch for attendees.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Vian Creek Baptist Church Men’s Choir will deliver a live musical performance.

With its mix of entertainment, education, and community outreach, Flutter Fest promises to be a meaningful and memorable day for all who attend.
