Friday, October 28, 2022 - The First Baptist Church of Sallisaw is hosting a children’s instructional basketball league for ages 5-8 years.
Registration and evaluations will take place at the First Baptist Church gym on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 10 at 5:30 p.m. All registered players will be placed on a team.
Game days will kick off at 9 a.m. each Saturday from Jan. 7-Feb. 4. Game times will be announced once teams have been assigned.
In order to register, a youth must turn 5 years old before Jan. 1, 2023 and cannot turn 9 years old on or before Feb. 11, 2023.
The fee to register is $30 per child and $20 for each additional child in the family. The cost will cover each player's team shirt, individual and group photographs, and end of the season awards.
