Perry L. Emmett
Wednesday, October 25, 2023 - Thirty-four-year old Perry L. Emmett, of Sallisaw, was arrested and is currently facing first-degree murder charges. Emmett allegedly shot and killed 32-year-old Evan Rolston during an altercation Sunday.
Deputies were called to Emmett's residence on Wildhorse Mountain Road around 3 p.m. Sunday where they found Rolston dead from an apparent gunshot.
Emmett was taken into custody at that time and first-degree murder charges were filed on Monday.
The FBI is in charge of the investigation.
