Education Elevation 2026 set for July 23

Monday July 20, 2026 — As teachers prepare to return to the classroom, Fort Smith ER & Hospital and Carl Albert State College are partnering to help local educators start the school year ready for success.

The two organizations will host Education Elevation 2026 on Thursday, July 23, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Carl Albert State College Sallisaw–Stites Center (Mayo Building).

The event is open to all Sequoyah County teachers, faculty, and school staff and is designed to help educators stock their classroom supply cabinets before the new school year begins. Organizers hope the event will provide valuable classroom resources while showing appreciation for the dedication of local educators.

Education Elevation 2026 aims to equip teachers with essential supplies and support as they prepare to welcome students back to school, helping ensure they begin the academic year fully prepared and ready for success.

Carl Albert state College is located at 1601 S. Opdyke St., in Sallisaw.
