Thursday, April 6, 2023 - Easter egg hunts and activities continue to take place throughout Sequoyah County. Several churches have special events planned for Friday and Saturday. Check out our list below and make plans to enjoy some Easter family fun.
Gore
The Crossing Church in Gore is holding a glow egg hunt on April 7 at 7:30 p.m. The glow hunt will take place at Crossing Church, located at 44601 Highway 64, Gore.
The Town of Gore’s annual Easter egg hunt will take place on Saturday, April 8, at 11 a.m. The event will be held at Ray Fine Park, located at 305 Ray Fine Dr. in Gore.
Vian
Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Vian invites everyone to attend this year's Easter egg hunt and fellowship on Saturday, April 8, at 11 a.m. There will be egg hunts for all ages, games, hot dogs, and over 3000 eggs. Landmark Missionary Baptist Church is located at Highway 82 North, Vian, OK
Muldrow
Flight Community Church is set to host its first free community cookout and Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 8. The event takes place at the Muldrow City Park Pavilion at 3 p.m.
The event will feature hunting groups for babies to teenagers, hot dogs, games, prizes, and lots of candy. For more information, call or text Sabrina Odom at 479-462-8632.
Muldrow First Baptist Church has scheduled a free Easter egg hunt for youth on Saturday, April 8. The event is set to take place at 4 p.m., where youth will get the chance to help solve the mystery of Easter.
There will be plenty of eggs for everyone, with an egg hunt for kids 9 and under and a glow hunt for kids 10 and older. Organizers are asking those who plan on attending to pre-register for the event by clicking on the link on their Facebook page. Muldrow First Baptist Church is located at 605 E. Shantel Smith Blvd., in Muldrow.
Roland
Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church has an Easter egg hunt planned for Saturday, April 8, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church, located at 895 Ray Fine Blvd. in Roland. There will be lots of eggs and hot dogs, plus bike and fishing pole giveaways.
