Drummond to retire from ICTC

June 24, 2022 - Indian Capital Technology Center (ICTC) director Dart Drummond recently announced that he would be retiring on June 30.

Drummond has been in the education field for 38 years and has spent the last six years at ICTC, with five of those years working as the director of the Sallisaw campus.

"ICTC has been a rewarding experience for me, and the people of Sallisaw have been great to work with. Career Tech offers students a skill that no one can ever take away from them. I have always supported and encouraged my students to do their very best and to never give up," Drummond said.

After retirement, Drummond plans to travel with his wife to various locations. "Tennessee is one place we plan to spend much of our time watching our only grandchild play baseball," Drummond added.

Drummond's last day on the job may be Thursday, June 30, but he is confident it will be left in good hands. Stilwell ICTC campus director Nick Carter will be filling Drummonds' role as the Sallisaw ICTC campus director starting July 1.
