Community Invited to Celebrate Marty Green's Retirement

Wednesday, July 22, 2026 —The community is invited to celebrate the retirement of outgoing Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Marty Green during a come-and-go reception on Friday, July 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Wheeler Event Center in Sallisaw.

After years of dedicated service to the community, Green is retiring following eight years as executive director of the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce. He joined the Chamber in 2018 after a distinguished career spanning more than 34 years with Oklahoma State University's Cooperative Extension Service.

During his time with the Chamber, Green has been recognized for his leadership, dedication and unwavering commitment to promoting local businesses, supporting economic development and strengthening the Sallisaw community.

Friends, colleagues and community members are encouraged to stop by during the reception to share congratulations, memories and well wishes as Green is honored for his years of service and lasting impact on the community.

The event is open to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend.

The Wheeler Event Center is located at 103 N. Wheeler Ave. in Sallisaw.
