
Monday, December 20, 2021 - The Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce held their last meeting of 2021 on Wednesday, December 15 at the First United Methodist Church in Sallisaw.
Josh Rogers and Dale Bates provided musical entertainment with a variety of Christmas songs, and Cazadores Mexican restaurant prepared and served lunch for all members.
Rhonda Nicholson, chamber president, discussed the 2021 Christmas parade and said, "This year the Sallisaw parade had over 50 entries, making it possibly the town's largest parade yet."

There were 11 entries in the Storefront Decorating Contest. The winners include:

2nd place-The Baker Building
3rd place-Ivy Threads Floral Boutique
The chamber ambassador team announced the first quarter theme for 2022, which will begin on January 1 and end on March 31. The theme states, "One kind word can warm three winter months."
In other announcements, Nicholson said, "We are working on dates for the annual chamber banquet and right now it is looking like it will occur sometime in February. There is a possibility that could change depending on COVID and how things evolve with the pandemic. "
The Chamber also recognized and welcomed four new chamber board members for 2022. Board members include the following:
