Tuesday, November 18, 2025 — As winter approaches, Catholic Charities is reaching out to the community for help in keeping local residents warm. The organization is currently collecting blankets, comforters, and space heaters for those in need.

Donations can be dropped off at the Mix 105.1 Radio Station in Sallisaw from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, or at the Catholic Charities Center, located at 409 N. Adams St., Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The organization asks that no donations be left after hours.

Sallisaw Catholic Charities Manager Pam Wemhaner emphasized the importance of the community’s support. “We are working together to keep our neighbors warm this winter,” Wemhaner stated. “Thank you in advance for your generosity, and God bless you all.”
