CASC celebrates enrollment growth for the Fall 2022 semester

Wednesday, August 7, 2022 - In a post-COVID environment, when many organizations are still rebounding and regrouping, Carl Albert State College is proud to celebrate enrollment growth for the fall 2022 semester. The college experienced an increase of over seven percent in student headcount, an eight and a half percent increase in credit hours, and a seven and a half percent increase in concurrent enrollment.

“We still experience challenges from dealing with COVID, as many organizations do. For a couple of years, we weren’t able to have our traditional, long-standing events such as Homecoming,” said President Jay Falkner. “We’re proud to have worked together to overcome such a difficult time and are excited to begin seeing those events return. And we’re especially proud to welcome more students to our campus- students we can serve and empower to achieve success.”

The staff in the enrollment management department feels especially proud and grateful to welcome so many new faces to campus.

"I am thankful to be a part of such a great team here at CASC that takes pride in supporting students and their families as they pursue their academic goals,” said Rachel Johnson, Director of Enrollment. “As an institution, we are overjoyed with the increase in enrollment and look forward to the future as we continue to grow and serve more students."

“This achievement is a team effort, and I am proud to represent a college that puts students first,” said Hunter Sizemore, CASC Recruiter. “Carl Albert State College is an institution with a lot of heart, and the dedication of our employees throughout this past recruitment cycle is evidence of that. As we continue to grow and create opportunities for our region, a commitment to student success and achievement will always be at the forefront. I am thankful for each student and family that put their trust in Carl Albert State College to further their education.”
