Monday, April 26, 2021 - Murphy USA has begun a fundraising effort to assist with the Boys & Girls Club's mission of providing Sequoyah County youths with the tools they need to be successful.
Every year, 4.6 million young people are served by Boys & Girls Clubs. To show their continued support, Murphy USA Inc. (NYSE: MUSA) is partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to kick off the first phase of the “Great Futures Fueled Here” campaign. Customers in Sallisaw can now make a monetary contribution at checkout at their nearest Murphy USA location. Donations will support Boys & Girls Club of Sequoyah County.
“Murphy USA is excited to continue with the first phase of our biannual fundraiser for Boys & Girls Clubs of America,” Renee Bacon said. “Last year we were able to raise over $1.5 million dollars to support kids and teens at local Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. With nearly 1,500 stores across 26 states, we are committed to giving back in the communities in which we serve. We look forward to helping even more young people reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”
Proceeds raised at each store will benefit support Boys & Girls Club of Sequoyah County. Phase two of the campaign is Aug. 4 through Nov. 7.
The Boys & Girls Club of Sequoyah County is doing “Whatever It Takes” to provide Sequoyah County youths with safe, fun after-school and summer programming designed to enable them to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
